Full Transcript On November 8th 1989, British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher gave an inspiring speech to the UN General Assembly about the environment and climate change. Over the course of her half hour speech, she set out the problems we face and how we could resolve them. It was one of a number of inspiring climate change speeches by the then Prime Minister.
